After receiving a glowing recommendation from friends who remodeled their kitchen with TriFection, our clients in Cypress called us for help with their first remodeling project. They needed a permanent solution to the existing damage in their master bathroom and master closet from an old shower leak, and they knew the value of finding a quality contractor who did custom work. Custom work would mean a shower with upgraded materials and no more leaks. Custom work would mean specialized improvements that allow better use of the space and account for personal habits. Custom work would mean a chance to update the room’s appearance to their current tastes. Custom work was important, and their friends validated TriFection’s sterling reputation. Following an initial consultation with owner Jeff Reina, they felt very comfortable choosing TriFection.
Contemporary Bathroom Collaboration
Having conducted a fair amount of material research prior to launching the project, our clients met with members of TriFection’s selections team and instantly hit it off. Together, they established a plan for a new bathroom with a modern look and updated colors to brighten the relatively small space. To improve the storage situation, TriFection custom-built and installed a vanity cabinet, medicine cabinet and headknocker cabinet in the water closet, all painted Sherwin Williams Gray Matters. We then fabricated and installed a stunning Splendor White granite countertop from Omni Surfaces for the vanity along with a smaller piece for a matching window sill. Contemporary brushed nickel pulls from the Berenson Advantage Plus 6 collection completed the cabinet design.
New shower shines
To maximize daily enjoyment of the space, TriFection proposed eliminating the seldom-used bathtub and replacing two large swing doors with pocket doors. These changes would allow for a bigger shower and improved maneuverability within the bathroom. Our clients embraced the idea and provided their own input for the new shower design. The new corner shower would become the visual focal point of the room.
TriFection’s custom shower pan guarantees leaks will never again be an issue. Once we built that shower foundation and framed a small corner bench and recessed shampoo niches, we installed 12×24 Marmol Venatino, a white and gray honed porcelain tile (with the look of marble) from Arizona Tile, on the shower walls in a broken joint pattern. We used smaller 2×2 tiles on the shower floor. Soho Maya Wave tile from Interceramic, a shimmery 6″ glass and stone mosaic liner, added distinctive, eye-catching character to the pattern. Brizo Charlotte shower fixtures, including a rain shower head and handheld showering unit, maintained the consistency of a contemporary design.
For the bathroom floor, we laid the same Marmol Venatino 12×24 field tile in a broken joint pattern. Our clients chose Sherwin Williams Passive Gray for the bathroom paint color, which inspired the paint selection of TriFection owner Jeff Reina as he completed his own bath remodel. We brightened the room tremendously with Kichler Eileen vanity light fixtures along with new LED recessed can lighting.
Cyprus Bathroom Renovation Leaves Room Current, Customized and Content
Our clients are very pleased with their new bathroom design. Choosing a highly recommended contractor that delivered the promised level of service eliminated much of the stress commonly associated with home remodeling, particularly for first-timers. They can now convey to other friends and neighbors the quality and value TriFection represents. Before doing so, however, they might invite us back to their house. We heard mention of new granite countertops in the kitchen…..
