President & Owner
Jeff is a native Houstonian and has worked in residential remodeling and construction since 1989. He self-funded his college education from Texas A&M University through his work in the industry, earning a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science.
Jeff acquired the company now known as TriFection in 1998 and has served as its President ever since. He has overseen thousands of residential remodeling and construction projects across the Greater Houston area. Jeff remains deeply involved in the management of nearly all phases of TriFection's operations, including sales, project management, and custom cabinetry production.
Vice President & Owner
Jeff is also a native Houstonian, and he joined TriFection after working in the financial services industry for 17 years. He served as a director in the energy investment banking group of Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Houston, where he advised numerous oil & gas companies on strategic and financing initiatives.
Prior to that, he graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and earned his MBA degree with honors from New York University, specializing in finance and accounting. Jeff manages TriFection’s accounting, finance, marketing, sales, human resources, and business development functions.
Selections Manager / NKBA Certified Designer and Associate ASID
Melanie has worked for TriFection in various roles related to sales, design, selections, and project management since 1995. She graduated from Texas A&M University and is a certified designer through the National Kitchen & Bath Association.
Melanie is also an associate member of the American Society for Interior Designers. She assists our clients with material selections in advance of project execution. Her sharp eye for tasteful design and decor, as well as her deep knowledge of onsite installation procedures, will ease the burden on you and make your remodeled home the envy of the neighborhood
Master Carpenter & Cabinetry Shop Manager
Kevin joined TriFection after relocating his family from Minnesota. He has found the warmer weather and strong economy in Houston much to his liking.
Kevin owned a high-end residential home building, remodeling, and custom cabinetry company for nearly 25 years. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of custom cabinetry design, construction, and finishing to TriFection. His technical mind, skilled hands, and attention to detail can convert your ideas for custom cabinetry into a beautiful and functional reality.
Lead Carpenter & Field Manager
Dan joined the TriFection team after relocating to Houston from Minnesota. He is originally from Canada (“Eh?”), but he has learned the necessary survival skills for the Texas weather.
Dan has significant experience in designing and building high-end custom cabinetry as well as framing, drywall, and roofing. As TriFection’s Lead Carpenter, he manages all of our field carpentry operations, including custom cabinet measurements, installs, refacing, and trim work. He also contributes to project scheduling and quality control for the entire onsite remodeling process.
Kirk possesses more than 25 years of residential construction experience. He rejoined TriFection as a Construction Manager in 2016 after a previous stint with the company as a frame carpenter and cabinet maker.
In his current role, Kirk is focused on estimating and managing the execution of large-scale remodeling projects that involve major framing work, including room additions and conversions. His extensive field knowledge allows him to provide valuable input to architectural plans so that what looks good on paper actually works great in reality.
Stuart has worked in the residential remodeling industry for nearly 40 years. He joined TriFection after owning a successful remodeling business in California for 23 years. He has extensive experience in all phases of remodeling and the various trades.
Stuart is responsible for overseeing our onsite custom craftsmanship and material deliveries. He also ensures a safe, clean work environment at your home. His deep knowledge, hands-on approach to problem-solving, and friendly demeanor will keep you smiling during the demo and construction phases of your project.
Mike joined TriFection after relocating his family from Michigan to the warmer climate and stronger economy found in Houston. Prior to the move, Mike attended Western Michigan University and owned a painting & power washing company in Mendon, Michigan.
In his current role with TriFection, he manages the onsite execution of remodeling projects and is involved with project scheduling. Our clients greatly appreciate Mike’s organizational skills, calm demeanor, and obvious dedication to first-class service.
Erin has served as the company’s procurement manager since 2002. She graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelor’s degree in history and French. Among her many responsibilities, she prices, orders and tracks the delivery of various remodeling materials, appliances, and fixtures.
Erin also meticulously reviews room, cabinetry, and tile drawings and confirms the completeness of client files prior to project start dates. Erin's behind-the-scenes efforts are critical to effective project preparation and execution.
Gina joined the TriFection team after spending the previous five years as a sales coordinator for the Sherwin Williams commercial facility in Houston, the largest such store in the U.S. In her role with TriFection, Gina manages various administrative functions, including employee time sheets and expenses, vendor and contractor invoices, cabinet production costs and inventory, prospect tracking, and client contract preparation.
Her strong oversight of expenses ensures the lights at TriFection will not only stay on but shine brightly for a very long time.
Erica joined TriFection with significant experience designing kitchen and bathroom remodels, including her past work at Lowe’s and Kitchen Central, formerly Cabinet Cures. She graduated from The Art Institute of Houston with a bachelor’s degree in interior design. She is very familiar with a wide variety of design solutions, material choices, and project management.
In her role with TriFection, Erica evaluates, designs, and bids many prospective remodeling projects. She also serves as a client relationship manager, communicating important information and answering questions throughout the remodeling process.
Heather initially joined TriFection as a human resources assistant. She primarily supported our recruiting, performance evaluations, payroll processing, and employee benefits functions.
Based on her strong skill set and personable nature, we transitioned Heather to a sales assistant role. In this capacity, she performs many of the administrative duties associated with project quotations and client management. Her exceptional organization, attention to detail, and responsiveness serve our clients very well. Heather graduated from Sam Houston State University with a bachelor's degree in business.
Marco joined TriFection following his successful tenure as a telecommunications manager in Mexico and the U.S. Prior to that, he earned his bachelor's and MBA degrees from Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in Mexico.
Marco decided to pursue a major career change so he could apply his logistical management skills to a rapidly growing company like TriFection. In his current role, Marco ensures the accuracy and completeness of project files prior to onsite construction through effective coordination with our sales, design, selections, and project management teams.
Andy joined TriFection following her experience as an interior design assistant and showroom consultant. Originally from New York, she graduated with honors from the International Academy of Design and Technology in Nashville, TN. In her role with TriFection, Andy assists our clients in choosing custom cabinetry, countertops, tile, paint colors, and other key selections.
She also contributes to the preparation of conceptual drawings and project files. Andy’s knowledge and personable demeanor will make your selections experience more enjoyable.
Procurement Assistant, Scheduling Coordinator & IT Support
Luke joined TriFection following his years of experience as the office manager for a local granite fabricator. During this time, we learned of his sharp intellect, organizational skills, and commitment to client service.
Luke supports Procurement Manager Erin Roberts with the ordering and delivery tracking for numerous cabinet shop and field materials. He also coordinates and distributes scheduling information for our projects under construction. Lastly, Luke serves as TriFection's information technology expert, managing our cloud computing network, establishing new computer users, and resolving various technology issues.
Matt joined TriFection after moving from California, where he worked as a licensed general contractor and owned a woodworking business. He graduated from California Polytechnic State University. In his current role with TriFection, Matt continues to pursue his passion for carpentry through his work in our custom cabinetry shop and field installations.
Matt is highly knowledgeable and skilled in custom cabinet installation, cabinet refacing, crown moulding, and other trim work. Matt's talented hands and eye for detail contribute greatly to our renowned team of master carpenters.
Sonny joined TriFection with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He has a passion for custom craftsmanship, particularly woodworking. He previously served as a project manager at a high-end commercial contractor for over a decade. Sonny managed numerous projects in this capacity, including those for local churches, attorneys' offices and the Children’s Museum of Houston.
In his current role with TriFection, Sonny builds and installs our custom cabinets as well as other trim work. He works hard to consistently produce a top-quality product and please our clients.
Marcelo Dos Santos
Marcelo joined TriFection with more than 20 years of carpentry and cabinet-making experience. He relocated to Houston from Massachusetts, where he restored many historic homes. In his current role, Marcelo builds and installs custom cabinets while also performing various frame and trim carpentry.
He owns an impressive truck filled with nearly every carpentry tool imaginable, which he'll proudly show you. Marcelo's deep carpentry knowledge and excellent work ethic contribute greatly to the productivity of TriFection's cabinetry operations.
Beau joined TriFection following his experience as a woodworker for a small custom cabinet shop in Spring. During that time, he built kitchen cabinets, vanities, entertainment centers, and closet systems. Beau earned a bachelor's degree in aviation administration from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. After college, he couldn't find the right career fit in aviation, so he pursued his passion for woodworking.
In his current role with TriFection, Beau works primarily in our custom cabinet shop, where he stays very busy building all types of custom cabinetry with the utmost care and attention to detail.
Don joined TriFection with 30 years of experience in painting and construction. In his most recent position, he was responsible for painting home interiors and finishing custom cabinets and trim work. Don sought a position with TriFection after he observed firsthand the superior quality of our custom cabinets as well as the safety, cleanliness, and professionalism of our work environment.
As a TriFection carpenter, Don quietly and diligently builds a high volume of cabinet boxes, drawers, and face frames. When needed, he also stains and paints custom cabinetry for us.
Cabinet Builder & Finisher
Jose has built and finished custom cabinets for TriFection since 2015. After working as a painter and cabinet finisher for many years, he impressively expanded his skill set by learning how to build custom cabinets. In the process, he won the "Jack of a New Trade" award from TriFection.
Jose enjoys the calculations involved with woodworking, and he loves transforming raw lumber to a beautiful set of finished custom cabinets. His experience with the entire custom cabinet building and finishing process makes him a valuable "utility player" who keeps our cabinet production schedule steady.
Jesus (nicknamed Chuy) has finished custom cabinets for TriFection for nearly 10 years. Originally a helper for a residential painter, he learned the highly advanced skill of custom cabinetry finishing from true masters in the industry. He performs rigorous preparation work, including hand sanding, on our custom cabinets prior to applying the chosen stain or paint color.
Chuy's exceptional knowledge of finishing materials, understanding of the correct finishing process, and pride in his work are clearly evidenced by the stunning beauty of TriFection's custom cabinets.
Master Painter & Cabinet Finisher
Armando has worked as a master painter and cabinet finisher in the Greater Houston area for approximately 15 years. Prior to that, he earned his Master in Business Administration from the University of El Salvador.
Armando possesses excellent knowledge and skill in various textures, paints and stains, along with superior attention to detail and cleanliness. Armando's crews provide the finishing touches that make any interior or exterior remodeling project sparkle.
Demolition Crew Leader
Master Painter & Brick Mason
Javier has performed various trades for TriFection since 2014. Originally contracted as a master painter, we later discovered he is skilled in many different areas, including demolition, carpentry, and masonry. As such, we utilize Javier in many different ways. He executes many of our demolition projects, surgically removing and disposing of materials that will be replaced during the remodel without causing unnecessary damage to the home.
Javier hangs and textures drywall, paints interiors and exteriors, and expertly handles masonry work for us. Clients quickly recognize his many talents and appreciate his incredible work ethic.
As the owner of Paragon Electrical Contractors (TECL # 27706), Enrique has worked as a residential and commercial electrician in Greater Houston for over 15 years. He has served as an electrical contractor for TriFection since 2008. Enrique possesses incredible knowledge of electrical panels, wiring, light fixtures, appliances, and entertainment components, as well as an unmatched work ethic.
Your family’s safety is Enrique’s primary concern, and TriFection is very fortunate to partner with such a talented, trustworthy master electrician.
As co-owner of Right Touch Electrical (TECL # 29733), Will has worked as a residential and commercial electrician in Greater Houston for over 15 years. Like TriFection, Right Touch Electrical is strongly endorsed by HomeShow Radio host and home improvement expert Tom Tynan. Based on an impeccable client service and safety record, Right Touch also has earned top recognition from the Better Business Bureau, Angie's List, Home Advisor, and Best Picks Reports. Will's impressive team of electricians is not only highly skilled but also very clean and respectful.
Huey has worked as a flooring installer for nearly 35 years. During that time, he has performed and overseen thousands of carpet, tile, laminate, and wood floor installations. Huey has in-depth knowledge of the installation and problem-solving techniques for each of these materials.
As a professional, he understands the most important keys to high-quality flooring are choosing the right material for the homeowners' intended use of the area, proper preparation of the underlying surface, and carefully following the flooring manufacturer's recommendations. Huey will make new floors in your home look as good as the rest of the remodel.
Master Tile Setter
Pascual has worked as a tile contractor for TriFection since 2012. His ability to install a wide range of materials in even the most intricate patterns makes a kitchen backsplash, shower surround, or flooring throughout your home look fantastic.
Pascual's crews are meticulous with their tile cuts and highly skilled when it comes to setting decorative liners, inserts, bullnosed pieces, and other trim tiles. Pascual works closely with our selections manager Melanie Heinrich to develop well-conceived tile installation plans that result in a visually attractive flow throughout the kitchen, bathroom, or other rooms in your home.
Countertop Fabricator & Installer
Jose is the owner of a family business that has served as TriFection's countertop fabricator for 15 years. As a professionally trained and licensed geologist, Jose possesses vast knowledge of natural stone options, including granite, marble, quartzite, and soapstone. He is also very well-versed in various engineered quartz materials.
Jose carefully inspects the chosen slabs and develops thoughtful custom fabrication plans with the goals of minimizing the number of seams and making any required seams as inconspicuous as possible. The result is a gorgeous, truly custom countertop that serves as a major component of the "Wow!" factor found in a TriFection remodel.
Glass Fabricator & Installer
Fred is co-owner of a family business that has served as TriFection's glass installation contractor since 2011. Removing and installing glass are dangerous tasks, so they must be assigned to highly trained professionals.
Fred's team has earned the trust of TriFection management and our many clients through a demonstrated commitment to safety and the superior precision required for our custom remodels. Frameless shower glass and custom framed mirrors are among the final materials that must be installed during a bathroom remodeling project. Fred works hard to execute those installations flawlessly so you can begin enjoying the luxury of your new custom bathroom as soon as possible.
