When a working appliance or fixture no longer fits a client’s taste, TriFection removes it before our remodeling work begins. Instead of simply dumping things like used ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators and bathtubs, we often try to find a good use to benefit someone else….In support of the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) Remodelers Council Charity Garage Sale, held in conjunction with the Texas Home & Garden Show at the NRG Center on September 19th & 20th, TriFection donated numerous items collected from clients, employees, family and friends as well as our volunteered time.
Supporting Family Time Crisis & Counseling Center
The GHBA hosts this big event annually, with the proceeds from sold items designated for a local charity. The Family Time Crisis & Counseling Center, whose mission is to provide services and programs to encourage the mental health and wellness of the community, as well as promote safety and support for the prevention of domestic and sexual violence, was this year’s recipient of all garage sale proceeds. TriFection previously had joined the GHBA to assist with efforts to update one of the center’s shelters by supplying kitchen cabinetry and painting services.
Good time for a good cause
For this event, TriFection team members helped organizers stage items for sale and load purchases for customers. “The event went fantastic,” said cabinet shop manager Kevin Soberg. “The money went for a good cause, and we were more than happy to help out.” Kevin was joined by Gary Adams, Mike Yung, Matt Millwee and Javier Garza. “We appreciated the opportunity to be able to help our community,” said Gary, “And we had fun doing it!”
