The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses. With help from thousands of volunteers, donors and other supporters, this non-profit organization arranges special, customized experiences for these kids in an effort to lift their spirits. The realization of a child’s wish can be a game-changer in the healing process. Across the United States and its territories, Make-A-Wish grants a wish every 37 minutes, on average.
We encourage those of you with the appropriate means to donate to Make-A-Wish or other charitable causes, particularly those that benefit children facing difficult challenges.
