More than 50 people entered the TriFection Football Picks contest at the beginning of the season. These folks enjoy football and wanted a shot at the grand prize package, which included:
- A Texas A&M football helmet autographed by head coach Jimbo Fisher
- $1,000 gift certificate to Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery
- Free round of golf at Golf Club of Houston or Black Hawk Country Club
Each week contestants predicted the winner of games involving Texas A&M, University of Texas, University of Houston, Houston Texans and Dallas Cowboys. Regular season games were worth 1 point while bowl games and playoff games were worth 2 points. The competition was tight throughout the season. We could not determine our sole winner until the final game of the contest when the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Dallas Cowboys in the playoffs.
And the Winner of the TriFection Contest Is…
Our contest winner is Ed C. from Houston. Ed and his wife Lynn became TriFection clients in 2012 when they chose us to remodel their kitchen. Since then, we’ve had the pleasure of getting to know them on a personal level. They are passionate football fans, especially cheering for the Aggies and Texans, and very knowledgeable on the sport. Ed is a Texas A&M graduate and a former member of the Corps of Cadets. Lynn graduated from the University of Missouri but has developed a true love of the Aggies over the years. These super-nice folks have been strong supporters of TriFection since we remodeled their kitchen. Their referrals have generated meaningful new business for the company, and we are extremely grateful.
Last week we presented Ed with his Jimbo Fisher-autographed Aggie football helmet, which certainly will be worth lots of money after Jimbo wins a national championship. We also gave him the $1,000 gift certificate to Ferguson. With that special prize in hand, maybe it’s time to remodel the bathrooms…..TriFection owners Jeff Roberts and Jeff Reina will be hosting Ed at the Golf Club of Houston as soon as the weather improves.
