During this first visit, we discussed many remodeling ideas our clients had considered. We shared some design expertise and honest budget guidance to help them determine their top priorities. The kitchen required the most thought as numerous layout options existed. After listening carefully (always a good starting point for a contractor), we understood a more open concept with a dry bar area to be important. The island needed to be a better workspace for cooking. A new pantry cabinet would be nice to have, but not a must-have, given other remodeling needs.
In the master bath, a major reconfiguration was not necessary. They wanted a bigger shower, a nice freestanding tub, and distinctive tile. The two vanity cabinets required a big upgrade in craftsmanship but could remain in largely the same footprint.
