Last month we began the story of our Bellaire clients by explaining how TriFection’s processes both streamline a project and deliver a desired look and feel. We’ve now completed their master bathroom project, and our clients are thrilled with the outcome.
Creating the luxurious feel of a Mediterranean spa in the master bath was our goal. To realize that more open and elegant look, we began by reconfiguring the large shower and bathtub design. We removed the interior shower wall enclosure, which would be replaced by unique tiled archways and frameless glass.
Natural stone look creates spa feel
The shower walls feature a combination of honed & filled Ankara travertine tile from Arizona Tile as well as Bijou Acorn Forest accent liner from Interceramic. We also used that same accent tile around the bathtub. For the shower floor, recessed shower niches and arches, our clients selected a Philadelphia Mini Versailles from Daltile
We custom-fabricated and installed a beautiful Crema Marfil marble with a bullnosed edge for the tub deck, which extends into the shower to serve as the bench seat. Existing chrome hardware and fixtures were replaced by those from the Devonshire line in an oil rubbed bronze finish, including a rainshower head from the ceiling and a handheld showering unit on a slide bar.
Custom cabinets add luxurious accent
TriFection’s custom cabinetry delivers a finish quality second to none. That’s exactly what these clients wanted. To contrast the natural stone throughout the bathroom, our cabinet team created stunning solid oak wood vanity cabinets with raised panel doors and a Dark Mission Oak stain. We topped the vanity cabinets with Crema Marfil marble, matching the tub deck. Custom mirror frames and a headknocker cabinet in the water closet rounded out the effort.
A lighter look that flows
We completed the project by installing Kichler sconce lights as well as LED recessed can lights throughout the bathroom, which combine with the natural light from a large window to illuminate the entire room and provide warmth. Our painters added the final touches with the clients’ selections of a Sleepy Blue color for the bathroom and Interactive Cream for the master suite, both from Sherwin Williams.
Our clients are delighted with how TriFection has provided their recently purchased home a much more personal feel that better reflects their taste and design sense.
