She had temporarily fixed a leak in her pre-fab shower pan, but she wanted a truly permanent solution. Top notch quality and vertical tile design heighten shower appeal
To make room for the updates, we began by eliminating the old shower in our client’s home, including a knee wall, as well as the splash around the bathtub and the flooring throughout the bathroom and master closet. We built a brand new, custom shower pan. Completed with two layers of concrete around a custom, hand-cut PVC liner and a 24-hour water test, our client would never have to worry about leaks again. TriFection’s master tilers then set about installing a new, unique vertical tile design in the shower. On the walls, we placed an offset field tile of 12×24 Alfalux Correto Naturale along with two 3” liners of their mixed mosaic on both ends of the shower. On the shower floors, we installed 2×2 silver travertine tile. We created a complementary design with a single mosaic deco liner in the tiled splash above the original tub. We also laid brand offset 12×25 Alfalux Correto Naturale tile on the floor of the bathroom and master closet.
TriFection’s plumber installed brushed nickel shower fixtures, including a contemporary Hansgrohe Croma Green Showerpipe, in the shower. We completed the area with full-length frameless glass and brushed nickel hardware. After re-installing the toilet and touching up wall paint, our client’s update was complete! We provided the bathroom a very modern, custom look in a budget-friendly manner.
