Tuscany Inspired Design for Master Bathroom
Our clients knew they wanted a more sophisticated style in their master bathroom and loved the idea of a Tuscany-inspired design. However, they felt resigned to replace the bathtub they never used and hated cleaning. They were concerned about their home’s resale value. TriFection took the time to explain this is a common misconception and it wasn’t necessary to buy something they didn’t want and wouldn’t use. We could cap the plumbing and keep it in place under the tile floor for future homeowners. Our clients were delighted.
TriFection built and installed new oak cabinetry with a Traditional Cherry stain and Martini Classic drawer pulls in a brushed nickel finish. We also built two vanity mirror frames to match. Our clients picked out new granite counters of Crema Bordeaux from Midwest Tile, Marble & Granite, fabricated with a waterfall edge. In fact, they loved their granite choice so much it was an iPhone screensaver for a while!
We tiled a new shower in Monocibec Yuma, placing 13×13 tiles on the walls and 2×2 tiles on the floor. The earthy red color from the tile brought out the reds in the granite countertops. TriFection tiled a natural stone 6×12 flower border tile from the Modern Mythology Muse collection in a ring on the shower walls. The mosaic of polished marble with a mix of accent stones added a rich design to the shower. Our professionals also tiled new bathroom floors of 20×20 Monocibec Yuma tile in a diagonal pattern.
Tuscany to Sugar Land
At the vanity, TriFection installed two oval undermount Kohler sinks from Ferguson and Kohler faucets with sculpted lever handles in a vibrant brushed nickel finish. We put matching Kohler fixtures in the shower, including a handheld with a 30” slide bar, and added a grab bar for safety. Our clients reused their existing lights and we installed Kohler brushed nickel accessories from Ferguson. Clear frameless glass with brushed nickel hardware enclosed the shower space.
Tuscan Style Master Bathroom
Our clients are so happy with their new master bathroom. The rich colors choices and open floor space transformed the feel of the bathroom completely. They have accessible window sills to display décor and plenty of room to move around. In fact, our clients danced away their first night on the new floor where their old tub used to sit!
