Not everyone wants to “completely gut” their kitchen when they renovate. Our client, a commercial electrician in Katy, wanted a custom look for less time and expense. His builder-grade counters lacked personality and mismatched appliances did not give a good impression. He wanted to do something with his cabinetry too, but he wasn’t sure replacing it was necessary. After hearing about TriFection on Tom Tynan’s radio program, he gave us a call. TriFection explained that an attractive, permanent solution to all new custom cabinetry is cabinet refacing. With refacing, our client would keep his cabinet boxes but we would cover them with custom-fit, real wood “skins” and give him new custom-built doors and drawers, finished to his liking. Impressed by TriFection’s professionalism and attention to detail, our client chose us as his contractor.
Of quartz TriFection can help
TriFection got to work and removed the original doors and drawers from our client’s kitchen cabinets. We covered the original cabinet boxes with a real beech wood skin and installed new, custom doors and drawers of beech wood outfitted with soft-close undermount drawer guides and European-style hidden hinges. We finished all the cabinetry with a professional paint job in Sherwin Williams Egret White and installed new Berenson pulls in a brushed nickel finish.
For the countertops and high bar, our client selected Montclair White quartz, fabricated with a straight polish edge. The white and gray quartz made a statement with dramatic movement, reminiscent of natural marble. TriFection installed a backsplash of 3×6 Dolomite White tile from Interceramic in a broken joint pattern.
Stainless steel unites
Our client purchased new stainless steel Bosch appliances from Norwest, including an oven, microwave, gas cooktop, French door refrigerator, and dishwasher. TriFection installed a Kraus undermount stainless steel kitchen sink and put back in his original kitchen faucet. The matching finishes throughout the room gave a more cohesive feel to the kitchen.
TriFection pleases even the professionals
No one could be more pleased with his newly remodeled space than our client. As an industry professional, he’s seen the difference workmanship can make, and he’s glad he chose TriFection when it came to his own home. Our careful attention to detail and focus on quality materials made the difference he hoped for in his kitchen without breaking the bank. This is one electrician happy to be shocked with the change!
