Our clients in Sugar Land heard about TriFection from two trusted friends. We had remodeled both their kitchens with great results. In fact, we remodeled one of the friends’ entire home. Yes, every square inch…So, when both spoke very highly of TriFection’s craftsmanship and professionalism, these folks felt comfortable choosing TriFection to lead their Sugar Land custom kitchen remodeling project.
Their existing kitchen had been well-maintained over the years. However, the time had come for new appliances and a more modern look. Unlike many other kitchens we remodel, this one did not require a major layout change. The current footprint served their cooking, storage and entertainment needs really well. So, we saw no need to reinvent in the wheel here. A complete makeover with new custom cabinets, granite counters, tile backsplash and new flooring would do just fine. And, oh yes, we would also replace the outdated wallpaper with a high-quality paint job.
Eye-Catching Material Selections
While white & gray kitchens and bathrooms have been popular in recent years, our clients decided to go with a more unique and bolder look. They chose Frozen granite slabs, which feature very pretty colors and distinctive character. For cabinets, they picked Shaker style fronts and a Privilege Green paint color that really pops! Concerto Pearl Glossy backsplash tile complements both selections effectively. Above the cooktop, we installed a Pollock Arts mosaic tile with a pumice-colored chair rail border.
For new flooring, our clients chose Aequa Nix wood-look porcelain tile. These natural-looking offset tile planks appear far more interesting than the previous plain ceramic tile in a grid pattern. They also transition very nicely to the existing real wood flooring in the adjacent living area. Recently, we’ve experienced strong consumer demand for high-quality wood-look porcelain floor tile based on its durability and natural appearance.
Finally, they ditched the flowery wallpaper in favor of Snowbound paint color on the walls, which goes nicely with the Frozen granite…New LED recessed can lights and under-cabinet lights illuminate the entire area brilliantly. The new appliance package included items from the Bosch and Kitchen Aid lines along with a Zuhne range hood.
Tickled Pink with Green Cabinets and the Entire Project
Of all the fantastic selections in this kitchen, we believe the Privilege Green cabinets steal the show. They immediately grab your attention upon entry before you realize how well everything blends together. As always with TriFection, this is no “cookie cutter” kitchen. It’s truly one of a kind and fits our clients perfectly. They loved how well our team orchestrated the process nearly as much as they now love the finished kitchen! Furthermore, with the retirement years at hand, they’ve fallen in love with their 30 year old house all over again! Now, we’re quoting an outdoor patio project for them. We guess you could say their trusted friends’ “matchmaking” led to a beautiful working relationship with TriFection!
