Our former clients in Spring decided it was time update their master bathroom. They were tired of showering in a closed-off stall with no natural light, and they knew their mornings could be brighter. Cultured marble countertops and dated wallpaper failed to reflect their sophisticated style. Still very pleased with the kitchen remodel TriFection completed for them a few years ago (see “Island awaits you” in our photo gallery), our clients called us regarding their new project without hesitation. They completely trusted our custom craftsmanship and attention to detail. They knew TriFection would remodel their bathroom with the same care afforded to their kitchen, and they were excited to get started.
Cream Marble Countertops
TriFection cleared out the bathroom, including removing a shower wall, a furdown over the bathtub, and the existing wallpaper. The space now felt more open, and we installed a new window for more natural light with better energy efficiency. TriFection built and installed new cherry cabinets with a Classic Fruitwood stain and Schaub & Company crystal knobs with a bronze finish. We also built a matching mirror frame for a large beveled mirror. Our clients selected Crema Marfil for their countertops, a classic cream marble with tan undertones, which we fabricated with an ogee edge similar to the one used in their kitchen.
TriFection built a new custom shower with a small corner bench. We tiled the walls with 10×20 Monocibec Graal Arras from Crossville and inserted a Shimmer Abalone mosaic deco liner from Arizona Tile. We tiled the side of the bench with the mosaic as an additional accent, and our professionals placed a rich brown 2×2 Emperador Blend tile from Emser on the shower floors for contrast. Beside the shower, we installed a new Meridian tub from Ferguson. We placed a single piece of Crema Marfil marble for a tub deck which wrapped over to the top of the shower’s corner bench and matched the vanity countertop. To further unite the bathroom design, we tiled the tub backsplash and skirt in Shimmer Abalone mosaic tile. Our skilled tilers also installed complementary bathroom floors of 13×13 Monocibec Graal Arras from Crossville with inserts of 2×2 Dark Emperador from Emser.
Elegant Bathroom Finishes
TriFection installed two JSG Oceana glass undermount vanity sinks in a fawn color and two widespread, vibrant brushed nickel Kohler faucets from Ferguson. Our clients chose Kohler shower and tub fixtures from Ferguson in matching finishes, including a handheld and a rain shower head. TriFection added Framburg vanity lights and a chandelier, both from Lighting Galleria, and we installed Kohler bathroom accessories. Clear, frameless glass with vibrant brushed bronze hardware closed off the shower but still allowed for plenty of natural light. To complete the bathroom, we added a new coat of Sherwin Williams paint, including Navajo White on the walls, Bright White on the ceilings and Dover White on the trims.
