It happens more and more – complete satisfaction with one TriFection project whets a client’s appetite for additional projects. In this case, our client in Sugar Land was also impressed with TriFection’s intricate tile work and attention to detail. Last year, we remodeled her master bath so well, that she asked us to return for a powder bath makeover.
Powder bath makeover TriFection-style
As you’ll see in our original project, this client has fine tastes. She enjoys entertaining family and friends. Her existing white pedestal sink and toilet along with beige walls were incredibly ordinary. She wanted a powder bath makeover that would immediately grab the attention of her guests. Mission accomplished.
The new space features a textured and very natural-looking stacked stone wall made of 2×4 Turkish Travertine La Travonya from Interceramic. Meanwhile, the wall behind the vanity has accented 1×1 glass mosaic tiles in Harvest color; we also bordered it with wood trim on the top and bottom. Then, we installed a mirror running the entire length of one wall to open the space. It makes the room look and feel much larger. We then painted the remaining wall a complementary Nomadic Desert color from Sherwin Williams.
The original wall-mounted light fixture was replaced with two Les Jardin pendant lights with offset heights. The fixtures are made of iron and glass with a Byzantine finish, giving this powder bath makeover a unique and international flair.
A vanity as unique as our client
Our client found a small wooden furniture piece she wanted to use as her vanity cabinet. However, this cabinet needed a countertop. So, TriFection custom-fabricated her selection of honed travertine to match the unique design of the cabinet.
Finally, we installed a beautiful glass vessel sink by Avanity in Sandy Blue color. We also installed an oil-rubbed bronze faucet from Kohler to complete this powder bath makeover.
Along with her stunning master bath, our client now enjoys a showcase powder bath that will make family and party guests “Oooh and Aaah” for years to come. Next on her TriFection wish list – refacing the kitchen cabinets. Stay tuned…..
