Remodeling for rustic elegance in Cypress

elegant Cypress bathroom remodel

When our clients in Cypress decided to remodel their bathroom vanities, they found TriFection in The Home Magazine. As former professional project managers, they knew the importance of a well-managed project with regular communication, and as veterans of the remodeling experience, they knew how essential strong problem-solving skills and friendly service can be. The value of TriFection’s turnkey service was clear from the start, and they hired us to manage the entire process smoothly.

TriFection’s selection team worked with our clients to pick out finishes inspired by an image they found online, which illustrated their vision of “rustic elegance.” Our carpenters got to work building new custom cabinetry for their master bathroom. We created solid beech vanity cabinets with a knee space, tulip-panel fronts, and paneled drawers, all finished in a warm Sherwin Williams Echelon Ecru paint color. Our clients chose a complementary beige natural stone for their countertops, and we installed a Diano Reale polished marble from Omni Surfaces, fabricated with a 1 ½” waterfall edge. Original, contrasting knobs and pulls for doors and drawers were re-installed at our clients’ behest, and we found a few additional matching pulls to accommodate the new cabinetry design. Two white Kohler Devonshire® oval undermount sinks were installed, along with two Mirabelle Key West sink faucets in a brushed nickel finish to complete the vanity.

Natural stone in the spotlight095

The TriFection selections team and project managers communicated regularly with our clients to keep them informed on our progress and confirm we installed special features in a manner consistent with their expectations. Our clients particularly liked the natural, rustic elegance of stone, a material they had incorporated into a focal wall in their dining room to tie together with the fireplace in their family room. To continue this feel throughout their home, our master tile setters used a Tiramisu stacked stone from Keystone Tile to tile the full height wall behind the vanity, providing a stunning bathroom feature.

Two small mirrors with beveled trim were inset into the wall above each sink space and framed with pencil liner tile from Keystone. Between the mirrors we installed three Hampton Bay wall sconces with a bronze finish, and we added LED recessed can lights throughout the rest of the bathroom.

Not to be left undone, our clients requested we update the hall bath as well with custom cabinetry that featured open towel storage space. We installed granite and lighting that provided a consistent look with their new master bathroom space. However, instead of an undermount sink, our clients fell in love with a metallic pewter vessel sink from Ferguson Bath, Kitchen and Lighting Gallery.

Smiling with the sunrise and sunset

Our clients greatly appreciated TriFection’s regular communication, top-quality craftsmanship and professional service. The new vanity areas look spectacular and provide a special, customized place for them to start and end every day. The kind of place that brings a smile to their faces and makes it just a little easier to jump out of bed each morning.
