Pecan Grove Kitchen Remodel

pecan grove remodel

TriFection co-owner Jeff Reina grew up in the Pecan Grove subdivision of Richmond.  In fact, his parents bought the fourth house in the entire neighborhood.  Back then, the undeveloped area remained highly wooded, which offered great exploration opportunities for a kid with a dirt bike… Over the past 40 years, Pecan Grove has transformed into a fully mature area.  Jeff’s parents still live in the same house (and it’s time for a TriFection remodel).  When other folks in Pecan Grove recently chose us to lead their kitchen remodel, the project brought Jeff easy walking distance from his childhood roots.

Pecan Grove Remodel Brings a Change

After successful careers and with their child now through college (Texas A&M by the way – Whoop!), our clients decided to treat themselves to a new kitchen (new bathrooms too, but more on that later).  The existing kitchen was original to the home, including jobsite-built plywood cabinets and laminate countertops.  For this Pecan Grove kitchen remodel, they focused on high-quality craftsmanship and true customization because they plan to live here for a long time.  Based on advice from home improvement expert Tom Tynan, they called TriFection.

Our clients wanted solid wood custom cabinets.  During the consultation phase, we impressed them with our creative design ideas and our ability to build exactly what they wanted in our own cabinet shop.  In close collaboration, we designed a new layout for the kitchen remodel that would increase storage capacity and improve accessibility.

With help from our selections team, they chose solid oak cabinet fronts with a raised panel square style and a Chestnut stain color.  In fact, our clients liked our custom cabinets so much they decided to add more cabinets and a wine rack to their bar area!  Their granite selection of Silver Lennon is a show-stopper.  Its natural beauty and character immediately grab your attention upon entry to the room, but without overwhelming the overall appearance.

Crema Vosscione Tumbled tile in a broken joint pattern served as a very nice backsplash choice, and we installed increasingly popular wood-look tile on the floor.  A new Bosch appliance package from Ferguson added a modern element.  Accessible Beige from Sherwin Williams provided the perfect complement to all other selections.

More Home Remodeling in Pecan Grove To Come

As mentioned, we also remodeled our clients’ master bath and a guest bath.  We’ll share details on their stunning master bath in the near future…Meanwhile, Jeff certainly enjoyed returning close to home.  The proximity of this project to his parents’ house gave him an opportunity to fully evaluate their remodeling needs.  If Mom and Dad require a reference before choosing TriFection as their contractor, we have no doubt these extremely happy clients from Pecan Grove will provide one!
