Katy Master Bathroom Remodel

katy master bathroom remodel

katy master bathroom remodelBoring. No character. All-too-common in the neighborhood. That’s how our clients described their old master bathroom in Katy. What they wanted was a custom bathroom upgrade built just for them and built to last. And, that’s exactly what we delivered in this Katy master bathroom remodel.

Their new bathroom is something they today describe as looking “straight out of a magazine.”

Bathroom upgrade starts with Tom Tynan

After hearing Tom Tynan describe TriFection’s top-quality craftsmanship and turnkey service on SportsRadio 610’s HomeShow Radio, they decided to take the leap and call us. Our willingness to listen to their ideas as well as the knowledge, creativity and responsiveness displayed by our well-delegated team earned these clients’ trust. Despite lower bids from other contractors, they chose TriFection to transform their bathroom. They believed in the concept of “get what you pay for” and wanted this project done right, start to finish.

Bathroom upgrade provides needed update

Not only was this master bath built using a standard 90’s builder design, it wasn’t even built well. For instance, the pre-fab fiberglass shower pan was installed without a solid base. As a result, our clients complained of an unstable feeling when standing on it.

Selections give a bathroom upgrade added appeal

A more luxurious feel. That’s what our clients wanted. That meant saying goodbye to white cultured marble countertops and shower surround, old bathtub and MDF cabinets.

Downy color paint, also from Sherwin Williams, adds balanced color to the room.

During the selections process, our clients fell in love with the Diano Reale marble from Omni Surfaces used on the countertops. They so loved the marble that they elected to also use it on the tub deck, the niche above the tub, the ledge between the tub and shower, the shower knee wall as well as on the bench seat in the shower itself.

In the shower, we used 10”x20” Monocebic Graal Sinclair porcelain tile from Crossville Tile and Stone, installed in broken joint pattern as the field tile. Mocha Koyna 6” travertine, also from Crossville, adds a striking accent liner.

Happy wife, happy life means a new tub

Since our client’s wife enjoys a daily bath, a new and better tub was naturally part of this bathroom upgrade, complete with brushed nickel finish Moen fixtures in both the tub and shower.

Then, we added Mocha Koyna travertine tile, also from Crossville, in a 6” Mini French Versailles pattern on the tub skirt. We also used this travertine tile on the facing of the shower bench to achieve a unified look.

Katy Master Bathroom Remodel Leaves Clients Happy!

Our clients were so pleased with their bathroom upgrade that they happily agreed to participate in one of Tom Tynan’s HomeShow Radio videos and have already passed TriFection’s name onto many friends and neighbors.
