Our clients in Sugar Land lived in a beautiful home with many rooms that reflected their elegant taste, but the kitchen area was not one of them. They disliked the basic, original blond cabinetry and plain white Formica counters. Mismatched appliances and old wallpaper failed to inspire them. Rich wood tones and natural stones
After a careful evaluation, TriFection found that a combination of refinishing the existing cabinetry and building new oak cabinetry would achieve our clients’ goals. We prepped and stained the kitchen cabinetry a deep chestnut color and affixed Berenson door knobs and drawer pulls with an oil rubbed bronze finish. Our clients’ thorough search for the perfect countertop led to stunning Calaveras Gold granite, with soft creams, warm browns, and shimmery, lace-like movement. TriFection installed a complementary polished marble backsplash of 6×6 Crema Marfil Classic tile in a grid design with 4×4 mosaic inserts of Dark Emperador tile. We also installed new 20×20 Eclipse Moonlight tile floors laid out in a diagonal pattern throughout the kitchen and adjoining breakfast room.
Sparkling appliances and bright lights
Our clients purchased Kitchen Aid stainless steel appliances, including a double oven, microwave, gas cooktop, dishwasher, and refrigerator. They added a new Edgestar wine cooler, too. We installed a Kraus undermount kitchen sink that matched the finish of the appliances and a Moen Brantford faucet with modern touch technology. New LED recessed can lighting and undercabinet lights brighten the space. Our electrician also hung a one-of-a-kind glass pendant light above the kitchen sink for a unique focal feature. Our professional paint team stripped the dated wallpaper and then floated, textured, and painted the walls Sherwin Williams Kilim Beige. We also freshened up the ceiling with Bright White and trims of Pure White.
Polishing up the powder bath and laundry room
Our clients’ decided to update the adjacent rooms at the same time. The powder bathroom received a new vanity, hardware, granite countertop, and tile floor consistent with the kitchen. We connected a Kohler undermount sink and Brizo faucet from Ferguson, and finished the space with a new Kohler toilet and Delta accessories. We installed new tile flooring in the utility room and added storage space with custom beech cabinetry, painted Sherwin Williams Pure White.

Our clients absolutely love their newly remodeled kitchen and the surrounding areas, which are now customized to fit their tastes and feature high-end finishes.
