Our client in Friendswood knew his master bathroom lacked personality. White cultured marble countertops and builder-grade finishes did not reflected his personal taste, and he hoped to add some rich color into his space. His powder bathroom needed some attention, too. After hearing about TriFection on Tom Tynan’s radio show program, he gave us a call. TriFection’s cabinet refacing services offered a budget-friendly alternative to replacing cabinetry, and our selections team could assist with his project design, a part of the process he wanted to make sure he got right. With TriFection, our team of professionals would guide him through selections while respecting his budget. It was clear we were the contractor for the bathroom remodel in Friendswood.
Bathroom Cabinet Reface
TriFection got to work and removed the original doors and drawers from our client’s bathroom cabinets. We covered the original cabinet boxes with a solid oak wood skin and installed new custom oak doors and drawers equipped with soft-close undermount drawer guides and European-style hidden hinges. We finished the cabinetry with a Mission Oak stain and installed new Berenson brushed nickel hardware. Our client chose Dark Emperador marble, a polished stone from Spain with deep, rich browns, for his vanity countertops.
TriFection built a new custom shower with a bench and a entry without a shower door. We also built a drying bench on an opposite wall under a window. Our professionals tiled 12×12 Imola Koshi Beige tile in a grid pattern on the shower walls and benches. We added a liner of Bliss Cabernet from Crossville for interest and echoed the design with a liner on the outside of shower’s half wall. On the shower floor, we placed 2×2 Spanish Mix Polished Marble mosaic tile for contrast. Lastly, the TriFection tile crew installed 12×24 Venezia Beige Natural tile in an offset design on the bathroom floor.
TriFection installed two Kohler oval undermount sinks with Pfister widespread faucets from Ferguson at the vanity. In the shower, we placed Pfister fixtures with brushed nickel finishes from Ferguson. This included a handheld showering unit on a slide bar. We also installed two new Kichler lights with brushed pewter finishes from Ferguson to brighten the space. Then, we added Pfister brushed nickel accessories throughout the bathroom. Clear, frameless shower glass with brushed nickel hardware placed on the half wall completed the shower area and we touched up the walls with Sherwin Williams Sand Trap.
Powder Bathroom Remodel, Too
Our client requested small updates to his powder bathroom as well. TriFection refaced the cabinetry similar to the master bathroom but applied an Auburn Anigre stain and attached Berenson brushed nickel hardware. We built and installed a matching mirror frame and replaced the faucet on the existing pedestal sink with an American Standard faucet. We also added new matching accessories in satin nickel finishes and installed a new Park Harbor vanity light from Ferguson.
