Waking up every morning to a field of white Formica in her kitchen, our client knew her room lacked the style and sophistication possible with a simple kitchen remodel. She was ready to make custom changes to her Energy Corridor home. Taking the first step was her only challenge.

Updating without a kitchen remodel upheaval
While our client elected to keep her original cabinets in place, we removed the old laminate countertops. As a replacement, our selections team guided our client to new Sienna Bordeaux granite from Midwest Tile, Marble & Granite, custom-fabricated with a 1 ½” rounded bullnose edge.
A new natural stone backsplash with detailed design added a more refined look where no pattern existed before. Below the venthood, we installed Cote D’Azur 3”x6” brushed deco tile design from Floor and Décor in a herringbone pattern, highlighting the edges with Dark Emperador polished marble 1”x12” pencil from Floor and Décor. The backdrop for this unique accent was Cote D’Azur brick mosaic 1”x3” installed in a broken joint pattern.
Added kitchen remodel touches
Our client also wanted this kitchen remodel to make her island distinctive. So, we professionally painted the existing cabinetry with a Kaffee color from Sherwin Williams.
We then carefully installed her newly purchased cooktop and venthood as well as upgraded the lighting in the room. By installing six recessed can light fixtures, our client brightened her kitchen, ensuring her new look would really shine.
