Our commitment to top-quality craftsmanship frequently earns us repeat business from past clients. They often express appreciation of our attention to detail, professionalism and, of course, the stunning finished work.
After having already remodeled a kitchen and master bath and converted an attic into a multi-room living space for this Katy client, he knew exactly who to call for his next home remodeling project. In fact, he didn’t even bother calling other contractors for bids; he knew TriFection would provide the highest level of craftsmanship quality and service. So, he contacted us for service at a fair price for his upstairs bathroom, wet bar, and downstairs flooring. Over the course of a decade, we had built a strong relationship based on trust. Consequently, this is incredibly important in the remodeling business.
Bathroom home remodeling makeover
Our client wanted to give the old upstairs bathroom the same renewed look we’d created earlier in the master bath. Work began with the removal of wallpaper, followed by the floating, sanding and texturing of the walls. Then, we painted the room with Sherwin Williams Aleutian once we had completed the other work.
After rebuilding the shower, we tiled its walls with Interior Dune 12” x 24” in a broken join pattern, accented with Eleganza Bliss Autumn mosaic deco tile, both from ProSource. We then finished out the shower floor with Interceramic’s 2” x 2” Zone White.
TriFection’s skilled custom cabinetmakers next created a set of striking cherry wood vanity cabinets along with a linen cabinet, all with a natural wood finish. Two Mirabelle undermount sinks, each with Mirabelle Provincetown faucets in a classic nickel finish, were the perfect fit for the client’s chosen Absolute Cream vanity granite countertops from Midwest Tile, Marble and Granite. All of these selections were complemented nicely by ProSource’s Fusion Cream 12” x 24” floor tile in a broken joint pattern.
New LED recessed can lights and two Quorum International Randolph vanity light fixtures add a fresh new light to this thoroughly refreshed bathroom.
Serving up a new wet bar
TriFection’s custom cabinetry isn’t just for kitchens and baths. Our cabinetry team is often called upon to craft a variety of custom furniture solutions. So, when our client asked us to create a wet bar, we were ready for the challenge.
Our craftsmen built solid beech wet bar cabinetry with cove panel fronts. Then, we finished the new wet bar cabinets in a custom color to match the former cabinetry and existing trim. The installation of a beautiful River Bordeaux granite countertop and undermount bar sink & faucet completed our effort.
There’s more to this home remodeling project
Our client also asked us to update the flooring throughout much of the downstairs. We added Prosource’s Monaco Beige 18” floor tile in a diagonal pattern in the wet bar area and entry way. Then, we created a new fireplace facade using the same tile in a straight pattern.
We replaced carpet in the master bedroom, living room, formal dining room, living room and office with engineered birch wood flooring from ProSource. We also installed solid oak stair treads and risers, which we custom-stained to match the new flooring.
Home remodeling satisfaction
Our client was once again delighted with TriFection’s superior craftsmanship and professionalism. He commented, “You guys are not the cheapest, but I wouldn’t even consider another contractor to remodel my home.” During the course of many projects for him over the last 10 years, beginning with a kitchen remodel, we have transformed a house into his custom dream home. We look forward to working with him again in the future, but unfortunately he’s close to running out of rooms in need of remodeling. Only one more bathroom to go……unless he considers a room addition.
