Our clients in Katy thought about updating their master bathroom for some time, but kept putting off the decision. Finding a reliable, trustworthy contractor was important to them to ensure their remodel went smoothly, and they didn’t want to make the wrong decision. A friend from church who recently remodeled with TriFection recommended us highly, and they decided to give us a call. They found a team of true professionals dedicated to their craft and providing top-notch client service. Our turnkey service meant they would have assistance every step of the way in what can seem like an overwhelming process. Our clients knew they’d found the contractor for their project.
What you see is what you get
During their initial meetings, our clients were immediately drawn to the kitchen cabinetry display in our sales and design center. TriFection built and installed a similar set of hand-crafted beech wood cabinetry stained with a Library Oak finish for their home and two new matching mirror frames. To provide more storage space and a comfortable sitting area, we proposed the concept of eliminating the large, seldom-used corner bathtub in favor of more cabinetry. Our clients were intrigued, and then fell in love with the idea once they saw computer renderings. We added Berenson hardware to the custom cabinetry in a Verona bronze finish. For the counters, our clients wanted a contrasting color and opted for a white Ricksburg Marble from Midwest fabricated with a bullnose edge.
Jet set and ready to relax
TriFection built a brand new shower from the ground up. On the shower walls we placed 12×12 Concrete White tile from Interceramic in a grid pattern, and on the floor we installed 3×3 hexagon Castelbianco Nasino ivory tile, meant to mimic natural stone. An accent liner of 1×2 Interglass shimmer bends haze tile from Interceramic provided a focal point of interest and we capped the knee wall with marble to match the vanities and tie the areas together. We also installed new tile bathroom floors of 12×24 Castelbianco Nasino Ivory tile laid an offset design with matching 4” baseboards and custom transitions to carpeted areas.
TriFection installed two Mirabelle undermount sinks with Kohler widespread faucets in oil-rubbed bronze finishes. Ferguson supplied the shower fixtures, including the Kohler shower head, body sprays and handheld on a 30” slide bar. We tied everything together into a Moen digital shower controller so our clients could start their shower with the touch of a button. Clear frameless glass with oil rubbed bronze hardware closed off the space.
We placed new Kichler fixtures in oil-rubbed bronze finishes above the vanities for lighting and added Kohler bathroom accessories from Ferguson around the room. Originally, our clients weren’t going to paint but decided after we started to have that done as well, and we finished the room with a fresh coat of Sherwin Williams paint to the bathroom, matching the existing paint color on the walls and ceiling and Pure White on the trims.
A little extra
TriFection also freshened up the other two bathrooms in our clients’ home. In one guest bathroom we added a new marble countertop, Mirabelle undermount sink, and Kohler faucet to match the master bathroom. We also installed a new Kohler shower head with air-induction spray in a polished chrome finish. In the second bathroom, we changed out the shower head and the faucet on a pedestal sink and installed matching fixtures.
TriFection, the contractor they were promised
Our clients are very pleased with their completed projects and happy they chose to work with a trusted and highly recommended contractor. “TriFection is perfection!” they exclaimed over the craftsmanship, and they complimented numerous team members that went out of their way to be helpful. “Everyone takes a lot of pride in their work which is unusual – it’s good!”
