Magnificent master bathroom makeover in Magnolia

magnificient bathroom makeover in Magnolia TX

Recently retired, our clients in Magnolia decided it was time to update their master bathroom. They wanted to remove an awkward corner tub and make room for a spacious, spa-like shower. The design needed to pop, and the contractor had to know how to execute a plan correctly. Luckily, they didn’t have to search too hard to find the right kind of help – a past TriFection client sang our praises to these folks, so they gave us a call. We emphasized our focus on high-quality materials installed by professional master craftsmen in the initial phone consultation.  A review of our past projects validated our reputation.  After meeting at their home and a few subsequent discussions that established a good working rapport, they chose TriFection to remodel the master bath and update the guest bath.

Our clients opted to keep their master bathroom vanity cabinets, but they upgraded the countertops with River Bordeaux granite from Midwest Tile, Marble and Granite. We installed two new Kohler sinks and Delta faucets.

The new bathroom design, inspired by past project photos from our website, featured bench seating in the shower, an open entrance without a shower door, and a drying area with another bench. We built the spacious custom shower from the ground up. Our expert tilers installed field tile of 10×20 Monocibec Ethnos Huron from Crossville on the walls with vertical accents of Sticks and Stones linear deco. We placed textured Multicolor Pebbles from Thorntree for the shower floor and a grid pattern of 20×20 Monocibec Ethnos Iowa tile from Crossville on the rest of the bathroom floor. Delta shower fixtures in Venetian bronze finishes and clear, frameless glass with oil rubbed bronze hardware placed on the shower’s half wall completed the shower area.IMG_2600

TriFection updated the room’s lighting with new LED recessed cans and installed Delta bathroom accessories in a Venetian bronze finish to match the shower. For a final flourish, we created custom tile frames for the plate glass mirrors above both vanities. Borders of 2×12 Cappuccino Chair tile with a mosaic inset of Sticks & Stone linear tile tied the vanity spaces, new shower area and bathroom’s original chair rail into one cohesive design.

IMG_2598TriFection made minor changes in the guest bathroom, but they greatly impacted the look and quality of the space. We removed a basic tub and the prefabricated, single-piece laminate backsplash above it. Our professionals installed a higher quality, Kohler alcove bathtub with beveled edges and a curved base from Ferguson. We tiled a new shower surround of offset 10×20 Monocibec Ethnos Huron tile and installed Pfister fixtures with Tuscan bronze finish.

Undeniably upscale

Our clients are blown away by the positive impact a TriFection remodel had on their home. The look of the master bathroom transformed from basic to luxurious, and the grand custom shower suits their daily needs much better than the old tub area.  The matching custom tiled mirror frames add a touch of elegance they enjoy every morning while getting ready.  Even the relatively small updates in the guest bath made a huge difference.  Our new clients are so glad they took the advice of our past clients and called TriFection.  That “word of mouth” among happy clients has served as the foundation of our company’s success for nearly 30 years!
